suicide is the leading cause of death for men under the age of 45. Michael suffered abuse and trauma in his formative years, and this led to a lifelong battle with anxiety, and agitated depression. I think that of the stigma attached to mental health was a massive factor in Michael not feeling able to seek professional support.
